3-layer construction and warranty
Superior engineering for outstanding quality
Solid wood floors have some major drawbacks. Humidity fluctuations can cause the wood to warp, uneven subfloors require time-consuming sanding prior to installation, etc. In addition, a large amount of precious hardwood is needed to produce just a few square metres of flooring. Multilayer parquet from HARO easily solves these issues by using a balanced 3-layer construction with grains running in different directions. This reduces the natural swelling and shrinking of the wood by up to 70%. And compared to solid wood floors, multilayer parquet is also the better choice in terms of sustainability, eco-friendliness, and price-performance ratio.
The complex processing that goes into each of our parquet boards guarantees that you can select the most extraordinary amongst the best products. Only carefully selected precious wood species are considered for the top layer, between approx. 2.5 mm and up to approx. 3.5 mm thick depending on the series. We also go to great lengths below the surface – an essential aspect of HARO quality even if scarcely noticeable from the outside. Below the top layer, solid spruce fingerstrips are bonded to ensure the necessary stability. The precious wood layer is cross glued to optimally distribute the innate tensions acting within the individual layers. The 3500 series features a HDF E1 coreboard as the stabilising middle layer. The bottom layer comprising the softwood backing veneer ensures lasting dimensional stability. Without this complex multilayer construction, HARO Parquet would not be so perfectly suited for floating installation.

Superior performance
HARO PARQUET gives you the peace of mind of having installed a safe and comfortable floor in your home. The best proof is the excellent fire behaviour, slip resistance and thermal resistance properties of our parquet floors.

Perfectly constructed
Wood is a vibrant material that is subject to a wide variety of fluctuations. Solid parquet contracts in winter owing to the dry air and then swells during warmer and damper times of the year. Unsightly deformations can therefore occur, like the cupping shown. 3-layer HARO PARQUET is constructed such that these forces have no impact on the aesthetics and durability of the floor.

Don’t give moisture a chance!
Our high quality standards are demonstrated once more with our moisture protection. We go far beyond the standard. Water drops stay on the floor surface with our multi-strip parquet, repelled by the impregnated top-layer strip joints on the inside of the parquet board (for Longstrip Beech and Maple, Series 4000 with 13.5 mm thickness).
