You can rely on a wooden floor to create a cosy atmosphere in your home. Wood radiates warmth and is always welcoming.
Why is finished parquet so popular around the world? The answer lies in the material: wood is a natural and sustainable raw material with an excellent environmental footprint. It combines the best of two worlds. On one hand it is stable and enduring. On the other hand it is vibrant and warm. Our parquet floors are made from high-quality wood, which as a natural product offers a host of choices: shape, colour and wood species add individuality to living spaces.
We produce our parquet using wood from sustainably managed forests.. It is PEFC-certified and the wood waste is recycled in our combined heating and power station. Conserving our natural resources is important to us, which is why a parquet floor is a 100% natural addition to your home.
We produce your future HARO parquet boards in Germany to the highest standards of quality. The processing of wood is subject to the strictest environmental standards in Germany. What’s more, our parquet flooring is certified by the Blue Angel and the A+ label, awards presented for exceptionally healthy living and low-emission products.
Accentuate your personality with the right HARO finished parquet. You have a few decisions to make first however: Should it be Oak Markant, Oak Terra, Oak Sauvage or Oak Alabama? Or maybe Beech? Or how about Ash? Should the floor be oiled or sealed? When you opt for quality finished parquet, you can focus fully on the style you want. Level of intensity and use of space are not the primary factors when it comes to making a decision. The following overview will help you to choose the right finished parquet for you.
The age of creaking solid wood floors with large joints in which dirt can gather is consigned to the past. Modern parquet is multi-layer parquet. Less precious wood is consumed in its production compared with solid wood boards. This protects valuable resources. As the market leader in the area of parquet flooring, we combine the latest insights and decades of experience. We produce technically sophisticated parquet floors to meet discerning standards. Their multi-layer construction ensures a long lifetime and simple installation. Not least thanks to our Top Connect installation system.
We essentially differentiate between two types:
Our Plank 1-Strip, Longstrip and Plank 1-Strip Plaza Parquet consists of several layers. We use precious wood as the top layer in our 3-layer construction. When it comes to the middle layer, we use solid spruce fingerstrips at the top end, and high-density fibreboard (HDF) for the entry-level series. Softwood is then used on the rear side. So what is so special? The spruce wood strips lie transverse to the upper and lower layer, which means that the wood can work less.
You can install 3-layer parquet yourself as a floating installation without the need for professional assistance. Finished parquet can be installed in no time thanks to the modern click system.
Should you prefer even more stable and quieter flooring, however, finished parquet can also be glued down. You can call on professional installers in this case.
Would you like a timeless and especially stable floor? Our strip parquet will bring classic parquet installation patterns into your home. The sizes range from 70 x 490 mm up to the impressive 180 x 220 mm of a plank 1-strip. The construction is the same as in 3-layer parquet. The lowest layer is simply omitted. It is also not essential: The expert installer glues the finished parquet boards directly to the screed using solvent-free and low-emission HARO flexible glue. Floating installation is not possible.
Installation type: Would you prefer a calm effect? Or should the floor be striking? A lot can be achieved with the right pattern.

If you choose to install finished parquet over underfloor heating or in the bathroom, we recommend glue down installation by an expert installer.
Trees are a little like people: There are small and tall trees. Trees that grow quickly. Trees with lots of branches. Every tree has its own character. This is reflected in the colour and grain of the finished parquet. Every board is a piece of nature. And nature is very bountiful: Oak stands for strength and endurance for example. The golden brown shade and the distinctive grain of oak parquet blends into any dream living space. From classic to rustic to modern. Why is it one of the most popular wood species? Oak is especially strong and elastic. This makes it a robust floor covering.
Whether plank 1-strip, longstrip or strip parquet: The design of finished parquet influences the impact of the room. Depending on which installation direction you choose, your room will appear visually larger or smaller. For example, a plank 1-strip radiates cool composure. Longstrip in comparison is much more vibrant. You can choose between two product ranges:
It is not only the type of tree that makes the difference, but also the grade. In other words, the colour and structure of the wood surface. This depends on the grade and the knot and splint portions. Two wooden boards from the same tree can have a completely different effect: Heartwood looks different from wood from the outer part of the trunk. Our production experts know how important the right grade is for the look, and carefully select this by hand. They distinguish here between raw grades and fine grades. Two examples: As a fine grade, HARO Exquisit has a uniform structure and is ideal for prestigious, elegant rooms. HARO Alabama has a coarser effect. The boards highlight the bright knot aspects of oak and walnut.
Which grade appeals to you? Give your rooms that extra special touch.

Once you have found your favourite parquet floor, you can use the HARO Table to coordinate your furniture perfectly. Every dining table is a high-quality one-of-a-kind: Created from original HARO parquet boards.
The surface of your new parquet boards is treated for two reasons: The surface treatment protects the natural material from external effects. And it ensures that the radiance of the parquet is preserved.
Where would you like to install a parquet floor? Are you driven more by naturalness or durability? With the right surface treatment, you can even use HARO parquet in the bathroom.
Once you have chosen your preferred parquet, you can decide which surface treatment is right for you:
Do you feel the original, vibrant texture of the oak beneath your feet? Apart from the surface treatment, the texture is also important for the sense of touch. Our surface treatments allow us to create surfaces with visible and tangible height differences. A sense of touch that makes the parquet experience even more natural. Choose your favourite texture: for example, brushed, retro brushed or alpine brushed. Or decide instead for chamfered board edges, or bevelled edges as they are known, which further accentuate the board format.
Regardless of what you are looking for – whether parquet as a stair trim or Parquet in subtle white nuances – as Germany’s leading parquet manufacturer we can create your dream living space.
