Munich is not only a particularly attractive city for many high-calibre professionals. As the property developer, the REAL Estate Group has built a housing estate here that takes every aspect of modern, urban living into account. In addition to over 450 flats (98 of which are social housing), the attractive buildings also house two nurseries, a café, modern office spaces and two spacious underground car parks. The development naturally also includes ample green spaces with playgrounds for the younger residents and green recreational areas for the owners and tenants of the new flats. The design was provided by Ortner + Ortner as architects, whilst the landscaping was carried out by Topotek 1 landscape architects; both are based in Berlin.
The site is designed to be completely car-free, yet easy and quick for cyclists and pedestrians to navigate. The development was built to the environmentally friendly KfW 55 standard, with the buildings heated via district heating. The climate-friendly construction also includes green roofs, contributing to CO₂ reduction in Munich’s city centre.
A large proportion of the more than 450 flats, with an impressive total floor area of around 20,000 square metres, were fitted with ‘ HARO ’ parquet flooring. Prior to this, the future residents of Living Isar had the opportunity to choose from a range of parquet styles, including both the two-layer and three-layer ranges from HARO, in the Plank 1-Strip Maxim and Plank 1-Strip 180 formats. By fitting the property with HARO parquet flooring, the REAL Estate Group has set a special standard for healthy, stylish and high-quality living.
