Woodworking is a long-standing tradition for us.

We have been working with wood at our Rosenheim site in Upper Bavaria for over 150 years. Driven by our love of wood as a natural product and our high standards of quality, combined with modern design, we have become Germany’s leading flooring manufacturer. A long-term perspective forms the basis of our day-to-day operations. This is also reflected in our products. For us, the development and manufacture of high-quality products go hand in hand with a strong focus on innovation and modern design.

This applies to our diverse range of parquet flooring as well as to our laminate and design floors, which are free from PVC and plasticisers. The right floor for every need.

Top quality ‘Made in Germany’

As parquet specialists, we think ahead and approach things in a considered and sustainable manner. For us, this means, amongst other things, that we use all our resources carefully. We use timber from PEFC-certified forests and forestry operations. In this way, we ensure that no more timber is harvested from the forests than can regrow.

Hamberger Flooring GmbH & Co. KG has been PEFC-certified since 2004.

Through optimal raw material exploitation and state-of-the-art production technologies, we additionally reduce the need for valuable resources and have been using the wood waste generated during production to generate environmentally friendly green electricity since 1971.

Thanks to our biomass power plants and our hydroelectric power plant, with which we harness the power of the Sims River, we are energy self-suppliers and can supply 8,000 households with electricity in addition to our production. Green electricity represents the contemporary use of hydroelectric power, which has been powering our production since the company was founded.

For us, as a forward-looking company, responsibility also means managing our business with foresight and careful planning, and taking responsibility for people.

This applies first and foremost to our staff, quite a few of whom spend their entire working lives at HARO. No wonder: respect and appreciation for the individual are of the utmost importance to us.

And so we also see it as our fundamental duty to offer only products that are 100 per cent healthy for the home and completely safe to our business partners in the retail sector – and thus to you as end customers.
