Villa Copenhagen is a true institution in Denmark’s capital. The building, which once housed the Post and Telegraph Office, has, following an extensive refurbishment, become the perfect fusion of traditional values and charming, top-class hotel luxury. As well as its breathtaking architecture and exclusive luxury features, the hotel also impresses with its exquisite flooring – fine HARO strip parquet emphasises the classic and long-term extravagance of the hotel’s interior.

Of the Villa Kopenhagen’s total usable floor area of just over 30,000 square metres, just under a quarter has been fitted with the exquisite ‘ HARO ’ strip parquet. The ‘Allegro 6000’ strip parquet blends perfectly with the architecture and its interplay of tradition and contemporary building materials. The textured floor surfaces turn every room within the hotel complex – however winding its layout – into a real eye-catcher. This is because the strip parquet captivates with its vibrant effect and complements the historic walls with its understated and distinctly sustainable chic.
For HARO and its Norwegian partner, the project to enhance this exceptional hotel with a stylish, high-quality floor was a wonderful challenge. After all, an ambitious establishment such as Villa Kopenhagen must surprise and impress its guests with every detail – including a floor design that looks exclusive without being overbearing.
