3-layer construction and warranty
Superior engineering for outstanding quality
Solid wood floors have some major drawbacks. Humidity fluctuations can cause the wood to warp, uneven subfloors require time-consuming sanding prior to installation, etc. In addition, a large amount of precious hardwood is needed to produce just a few square meters of flooring. Multilayer parquet from HARO® easily solves these issues by using a balanced 3-layer construction with grains running in different directions. This reduces the natural swelling and shrinking of the wood by up to 70%. And compared to solid wood floors, multilayer parquet is also the better choice in terms of sustainability, eco-friendliness, and price-performance ratio.
The superior engineering of each of our parquet products guarantees that you always get the best and most special products. Only carefully selected precious wood species are used for the top layer, which is between approx. 3/32'' and up to approx. 1/8'' thick depending on the series. We also make an effort that is hardly noticeable from the outside, but is essential for the HARO® brand quality: Below the top layer, solid spruce fingerstrips ensure the necessary stability. They are cross glued to optimally distribute the innate tensions acting within the individual layers. The 3000 Series features an HDF E1 coreboard as the stabilizing middle layer. The bottom layer comprising the softwood backing veneer ensures long lasting dimensional stability. Without this complex multilayer construction, HARO® Parquet would not be so perfectly suited for a floating installation.
HARO® PARQUET gives you the peace of mind of having installed a safe and comfortable floor in your home. The best proof is the excellent fire behavior, slip resistance and thermal resistance properties of our parquet floors.

Wood is a living material and affected by fluctuations in ambient conditions. A solid wood floor shrinks in the wintertime because of the low air humidity, and swells in the warmer, more humid seasons. This causes warping as shown in the illustration. 3-layer HARO® PARQUET has been engineered so that these forces have no effect on the beauty and durability of the floor.
Moisture doesn’t stand a chance
Our high standard of quality is evident once more in our moisture protection. Our efforts here extend far beyond the standard requirement. Water drops stay on the surface of our multi-layer parquet, repelled by the impregnated top-layer strip joints on the inside of the board (Longstrip Beech and Maple 4000 Series with 13.5 mm thickness).
