Square meter calculator - determine floor area
Simply calculate your flooring requirements
You're already in full flow and have covered a lot of space with your new HARO flooring. Almost finished - and then this: no more material! One small miscalculation and you've either bought too little or far too much flooring.
To prevent this from happening to you, there is the HARO area calculator. The calculation can be a little tricky, especially in rooms with lots of corners - but with our tool, it's really easy.
This is how it works:
Simply select the most suitable room shape from the basic shapes, measure the length of the individual walls and enter the values. This is how you determine the square meters of your room. To give your planning more certainty , we have also included the usual offcuts. Of course, you can adjust this as you wish.
And because a new floor is not complete without matching skirting boards, the HARO area calculator also shows you how many running meters of skirting boards (running meters) you should plan for. To determine the result as accurately as possible, you can subtract door widths, as no skirting boards are required there. Simply add up all the doors if there are several in the room.
