The building located in Calle Urbieta is more than 100 years old. It was modernised under strict conditions according to the German passive house standard and meets the highest sustainability requirements. The generously designed flats, each with around 100 square metres of living space as well as balconies or roof terraces, are divided into a spacious, open-plan living and kitchen area, two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and an additional room that can be used as a guest room or study. Balconies and terraces complement the stylishly furnished living spaces with charming views of San Sebastián’s city centre.
The interior of two flat has been enhanced with a stylistically matching parquet floor by HARO. The Plank 1-Strip Plaza 240 Oak Sauvage creates a wonderful contrast to the white ceilings and walls and harmonises perfectly with the modern furniture. The local installation company laid around 200 square metres of parquet flooring, creating a cosy and natural atmosphere in the two flats. The HARO parquet complements the sustainable aspirations with which the developer has modernised the historic building on the basis of the passive house standard.
