About social plugins / social networks:
In order to make our Internet presence attractive and user-friendly for our users, we work with selected cooperation partners (Facebook, Twitter, Google). These platforms can be tied into our website through social plugins which can be identified by their displayed logos. When you open a web page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the server of the external cooperation partner. This primary purpose of this is to display the content of the plugin. In the process, the content of the plugin is directly transmitted to your browser by the external cooperation partner and integrated in the web page via the browser. We therefore cannot directly influence the scope of the data collected by means of the relevant plugins and thus inform you based on our own level of knowledge: The cooperation partner regularly collects your IP address and other device-related data. In addition, the partner receives information that a user with this specific IP address is visiting our website at this moment. If you have logged in to your user account with the relevant external cooperation partner, the partner can attribute the visit to our website with your user account. If you do not wish to have this information linked with your user account, you will need to log out of that partner’s website before visiting our website. In the event of interaction with a plugin, e.g. when you click on the Facebook “like” button or leave a comment, that information is transmitted by the browser to the cooperation partner and stored there. In some circumstance the cooperation partner can also save a cookie to your PC that is deleted once you close your browser. In your browser settings, you can determine whether or not you will allow cookies. We would like to point out that the servers of cooperation partners may be located in the USA or in other non-European countries. Data protection laws applicable there, e.g. In terms of police or official access regulations may deviate from the German legal situation. Please see the data protection notices of the respective cooperation partner, which are linked to their website, for more information on the purpose and scope of data collection by the external cooperation partner as well as the processing and use of your data and your rights and settings options for protecting your privacy. Please see the contact address noted in the data protection notices of the respective cooperation partner if you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your data with the cooperation partner or to access, block, amend or delete data.
You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing the cookie-generated data regarding your usage of this website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
Hamberger Flooring GmbH & Co. KG uses the function _anonymizeIp() to restrict Google Analytics for the protection of its users. With this additional function, the last 8 bits are deleted before any further processing of the inquiring IP address. This makes it more difficult to identify a website's users. Only general localization is possible.
