When cork turns into wood - the Arteo XL 4V design
A breath of fresh air for HARO Cork Floors: with the Arteo design you can enjoy the warmth and softness of cork with an authentic wood look.
Wood on the wall – this is not a new trend. Wood was also used as panelling on walls in the past. Wooden wall panelling can be found in many rustic country homes, in homely hotels or as warm surfaces over cold castle walls. Yet the concept of cladding walls with warm wooden surfaces is increasingly finding its way into modern, designer-style houses and apartments too. Simple wooden planks are no longer used today, however, rather high-quality surfaces that are tailored colour-wise to the floors. This is where the Rosenheim-based parquet floor specialist HARO comes into its own with its decades of experience as a manufacturer of high-quality wooden floors made in Germany, and offers perfect solutions for contemporary living design on the wall with its current and ultra-modern laminate and parquet boards.
The days when white walls were the ultimate in interior design are long gone. Minimalist home and furniture design in particular needs warm surface accents on the surrounding spatial surfaces. Walls and floor are once more receptive to colour and tactile surface structures. What could make more sense then than to also use wood as a material in areas where it has already proven itself for centuries? Modern systems allow parquet, laminate boards or wood tiles in slate look to be installed with ease on the wall and thus not only create a cosy living atmosphere but also showcase a room in a special way. The wall surfaces overlaid with HARO Parquet or HARO Laminate become a real eye-catcher in any home. The space is visually enlarged as the floor seems to seamlessly rise up the wall. The sky is virtually the limit as far as the imagination goes.
Installing a modern HARO floor on the wall is really straightforward. That’s because of the wall fixing system specially developed by HARO and adapted to the HARO product range. The system consists of fastening rails, special initial and end clips and fastening clips. Whether you now opt for HARO real wood parquet or HARO laminate flooring – all HARO quality flooring can be installed quickly and easily on the wall. Once the first row is aligned using the scale, it can be secured effortlessly with the initial clips. The boards or wooden tiles can now be installed quickly and easily on the wall using the fastening clips – board for board and tile for tile. The process is exactly the same as for the familiar floor installation. The special closing clips finish off the installation work on the wall, fixing the boards finally to the wall. A matching aluminium moulding ensures the perfect finish, covering the edges and framing the new wall perfectly. When using parquet, HARO even offers matching colour cover strips made from original parquet boards.
Another advantage of the HARO wall system is that it can easily be removed again. The system is easily removed in the reverse order of its installation. The panels are taken off, the wall mounting rails screwed off and drill holes smoothed out again. It couldn't be more simple! Therefore, the system is also ideal for rented apartments. When moving out, you can simply take it with you and find a new place in your new four walls.
