When the floor is firmly glued to the subfloor, it cannot 'work' the way a floating floor would. This reduces footfall sound and also facilitates later renovation. We also recommend a full glue-down installation if you want to add the luxury of underfloor heating, because you will achieve a better heat transfer that way.

Breathe easy!
Where there is light, there is shadow – gluing down a floor costs more and takes longer compared to a floating floor. That's why many shy away from this installation type. Problems from solvents in the adhesives are history, however, if you use the proven low-emission, environmentally safe parquet adhesive from HARO.

Need a helping hand?
Gluing down a parquet floor is a major challenge for DIYers, even more so if you want to lay special patterns or your rooms are full of nooks and crannies. To be on the safe side, get a specialist to do the work. It might cost a bit more, but the result will be well worth the investment.
