Solid wood floors have some major drawbacks. Humidity fluctuations can cause the wood to warp, uneven subfloors require time-consuming sanding prior to installation, etc. In addition, a large amount of wood is needed to produce just a few square feet of flooring. Multilayer parquet from HARO easily solves these issues. The parquet's 3-layer construction with grains running in different directions reduces the natural swelling and shrinking of the wood by up to 70%. And compared to solid wood floors, multilayer parquet is also the better choice in terms of sustainability, eco-friendliness, and price-performance ratio.

The complex processing for each of our parquet products guarantees that you can select the most extraordinary amongst the best. Only carefully selected precious wood species are used for the top layer, which is between approx. 2.5 mm and up to approx. 3.5 mm thick depending on the series. We also make an effort that is hardly noticeable from the outside, but is essential for the HARO quality. Below the top layer, solid spruce fingerstrips ensure the necessary stability. They are cross glued to optimally distribute the innate tensions acting within the individual layers. The 3000 Series features an HDF E1 coreboard as the stabilising middle layer. The bottom layer comprising the softwood backing veneer ensures long lasting dimensional stability. Without this complex multilayer construction, HARO Parquet would not be so perfectly suited for a floating installation.
